Activity report

Diabetic Days allover November and December in many places, many patients’ activities were done and will be discussed separately. Also we were willing for early detection of Diabetes in these places so we checked blood glucose to all the persons who attended.

Attended by about 1000 patients including some refugees in Egypt, many professors from various Egyptian universities to guide the patients and reply all their inquiries. This event was covered by many media to spread the knowledge to diabetic patients allover Egypt. We performed many activities:

T-shirts Distribution labeled with the logos of WDD and AASD
Symbolic Marathon to encourage the patients to do exercise
Patient education sessions
Blood pressure and body weight measurements
Distribution of glucometers
Educational flyers
Blood glucose analysis
Glycosated hemoglobin measurement
Fundus examination
