Conference report
- Attended by 600 doctors and speakers were from various Egyptian universities
- Scientific sessions speaking about fasting during Ramadan and its safety, how to regulate food and doses of medication during fasting, the relationships between diabetes and cardiovascular, liver and kidney diseases
- Besides the scientific sessions, press conference was held to reply to all patients questions about fasting
- The conference was followed by education workshops for both doctors and nurses to apply the theoretic lectures for maximum benefit
